We are proud of our growth and looking for a high-quality Pool Maintenance and Repair Technician to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for ensuring excellent on-site cleaning and maintenance work for every customer you are assigned. This includes following our proven pool cleaning methods and handling pool chemicals in a controlled and safe manner. You will also be responsible for diagnosing problems by following our proven process, and successfully solving those problems with efficiency, while adhering to all established protocols. We continue to expand our knowledge by sharing our experiences, and what we have learned from them, with other team members.
The ideal person for this position will love the outdoors and have a knack for doing tasks independently. Integrity and efficiency are qualities we demand from all our contractors, and we ask that you embody these qualities if you want to become a part of our crew at Legendary Pools.
Repairing pool pumps, heaters, filters, timers, pool cleaners, blowers, lights, automated pool systems, chlorinators, backwash valves, PVC plumbing, copper plumbing, and galvanized plumbing.
Ability to identify opportunities outside of regular services, such as upgrading older equipment or adding new products to improve the customer's experience.
Renovation experience – re-plaster or equivalent (e.g., PebbleTech®), tile replacement/repair, deck texture/seal, pavers install/repair, vinyl liners (preferred, not required)
Managing a route that includes cleaning swimming pools and managing equipment repairs, in addition to doing one-time repairs.
Managing the stocking of chemicals and equipment on your truck, and properly adjusting the water chemistry for every pool each week.
Knowledge of 110 volt and 220 volt electrical equipment (preferred, not required)
You will ride with all of our awesome technicians and receive the knowledge that each one has to offer.
You will create your own work schedule; as long as clients are happy, we are happy.
We help each other out, whether it's with a repair question, getting chemistry advice, or if you just need emergency time off, each of us steps in to help when necessary.
